Stampology Notary & Apostille assists clients with the apostille process. Apostilles are issued by the appropriate government authority. We do not issue apostilles ourselves.

Translation services are provided through qualified third-party translation partners. Pricing and turnaround times may vary based on language, document type, and project requirements.

Acceptance of certified translations is determined by the receiving agency, institution, or government body. We cannot guarantee acceptance by any specific recipient.

Information We Collect. Information submitted through our contact forms, scheduling tools (including Calendly), email, phone calls, and website inquiries may be collected and stored. This may include your name, contact information, appointment details, document type, service location, and any messages you choose to share with us.

How We Use Your Information. Personal information is used solely for the purpose of providing the services you request, responding to inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, processing payments, communicating about your service, and improving customer experience.

Analytics & Cookies. This website uses Google Analytics and similar tools to understand general site traffic and improve usability. These tools may collect anonymized data such as browser type, device, pages visited, and approximate location. No personally identifying analytics data is sold.

Third-Party Services. We use trusted third parties to operate our business, including request management, email providers, translation partners, and payment processors when applicable. These providers only receive information necessary to perform their services.

No Sale of Personal Information. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention. Notary journal entries are maintained as required by California law. Other client information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to deliver services and comply with legal or tax obligations.

Your California Privacy Rights. California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of personal information (subject to legal recordkeeping requirements such as the notary journal), and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. Security. We take reasonable steps to safeguard the information you share with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Use of this website does not create a client relationship, legal representation, or guarantee of service availability. Appointment times, travel fees, service fees, turnaround times, and pricing may vary based on location, document requirements, and availability. All pricing will be confirmed before services are provided.

Service Availability. We are not obligated to accept every appointment request. We reserve the right to decline service for any lawful reason, including incomplete documentation, inability to verify identity in accordance with California law, signer impairment, inability to communicate directly with the signer or otherwise determine the signer's willingness and awareness, or scheduling conflicts.

Appointments & Changes. Online submissions are appointment requests, not confirmed reservations. We review pricing and availability before confirming your appointment. Please contact us if you need to cancel or reschedule, or have questions about charges if a mobile signing cannot be completed. Any applicable terms are confirmed before service.

Pricing. Quotes may vary depending on travel distance, number of notarizations, document type and complexity, additional services requested, and same-day, urgent, or special scheduling requests when available. California-regulated notary fees are charged in accordance with state-set maximums; travel and convenience fees are separately disclosed and confirmed in advance.

Travel fees are not regulated by the State of California and will be disclosed and agreed upon before services are provided.

No Legal Advice. We do not provide legal advice, prepare legal documents, or recommend the type of notarial act to use. Clients are responsible for understanding their documents and, when needed, seeking advice from a licensed attorney.

Apostille Processing. We cannot guarantee government processing times for apostilles or authentications. All apostille timelines are estimates based on current agency processing windows and are subject to change without notice.

Translation Services. Translation services may be fulfilled through qualified third-party providers. Final acceptance of any translation rests with the receiving agency.

Website Accuracy. Service descriptions, pricing references, and informational content on this website may change without notice. Always confirm current pricing and availability directly with us before booking.

Payment. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and Zelle. We do not accept checks. Payment for in-office notarization is due at the appointment after service. For mobile appointments, the agreed travel fee is paid when your appointment is confirmed, with the remaining balance due after service. Payment arrangements for loan signings and estate planning packages are stated in your quote. Apostille and translation requests require quote approval and payment before processing begins. Your quote explains the applicable service charges, government or third-party fees, and shipping costs. For apostille and translation services, customer-approved third-party, government, and shipping commitments are nonrefundable; refunds cover only amounts not already earned, paid, or committed. This website does not collect payment with an appointment request.

Cancellations & Rescheduling. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. There is no cancellation fee for office appointments. For mobile appointments canceled before we depart, your prepaid travel fee can be refunded or applied to a rescheduled appointment. Once we have departed for your location, the agreed travel fee is nonrefundable. For apostille and translation requests, cancellation and refund availability depend on whether work has begun or costs have been committed. Any nonrefundable charges will be explained before you approve the service. Amounts not earned or committed will be refunded.

If a Mobile Appointment Cannot Be Completed. The agreed travel fee remains payable once we have traveled to your location, even if the notarization cannot be completed. This may occur if a customer is unavailable, required signers or documents are missing, identification requirements cannot be met, or other circumstances prevent completion. You will only be charged for notarizations actually performed. If a return visit is needed, any additional travel fee will be quoted and approved beforehand. If we cannot complete the appointment because of an error on our part, we will refund the travel fee and any charges for services not provided.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stampology Notary & Apostille, its owner, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of this website or the services provided, including but not limited to delays caused by government agencies, third-party translation partners, courier services, or events outside our reasonable control.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to services provided shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this section is intended to limit any liability that cannot be limited under applicable California law.
